Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 June 2026

1. Who we are

ReconcileAI ("we", "our", "us") is an AI-powered bank reconciliation platform. We are the data controller for the personal data collected through this website and, when launched, our product.

For any privacy-related enquiries, contact us at: privacy@reconcileai.io

2. What data we collect and why

Waitlist registration

When you submit your email address to join our waitlist, we collect:

We use this to manage the waitlist, notify you when we launch, and send you relevant product updates.

Legal basis: Consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing privacy@reconcileai.io and we will remove your details promptly.

Website analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool. It collects no personally identifiable information, uses no cookies, and does not track you across websites. We see only aggregated, anonymised data — page view counts and general traffic patterns.

Legal basis: Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) — understanding how visitors use our site so we can improve it.

3. Sub-processors

We use the following third-party services to operate this website:

Provider Purpose Location Safeguard
Supabase, Inc. Database — stores waitlist email addresses USA Standard Contractual Clauses
Vercel, Inc. Website hosting and anonymous analytics USA Standard Contractual Clauses

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with any third party for marketing purposes.

4. How long we keep your data

Waitlist email addresses are retained until whichever comes first:

Anonymised analytics data has no fixed retention limit as it cannot be linked to any individual.

5. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@reconcileai.io. We will respond within one calendar month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) — the UK supervisory authority for data protection — at ico.org.uk.

6. Cookies

This website uses no cookies. Vercel Web Analytics is entirely cookie-free and does not fingerprint or track individual visitors.

7. Financial data

ReconcileAI's product will process financial data — specifically bank transaction records — once we launch. This data will be subject to a separate, detailed privacy notice and Data Processing Agreement provided at the point of onboarding. We are conducting a DPIA (Data Protection Impact Assessment) ahead of launch to ensure appropriate controls are in place before any financial data is handled.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our product and data practices evolve. We will notify waitlist subscribers of any material changes by email. The date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last updated.
